Texas Impact: (Rebounding from) the 85^th Texas Legislature

Continuing our year-long theme of PERSIST!, the October meeting of Rio Texas MFSA will be Thursday, October 12 at Saint John’s United Methodist Church – Austin, beginning at 7:00p.  Our guest speaker will be Scott Atnip, the Congregational Outreach Director of Texas Impact.  Scott will talk about the 85^th Texas legislative session:  what happened, what didn’t happen, and next steps.  Now that the dust has settled somewhat, Scott’s presentation will be informative and forward-looking.
