Join SWTX MFSA on Monday, January 19 at 9am at the MLK Statue on the UT Campus to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.  After a brief ceremony, we will march to Huston-Tillotson University, where there is a community festival planned.  http://www.mlkcelebration.com.

NOTE: The MLK March WILL NOT go to the Capitol this year due to the preparations for the Gubernatorial Inauguration on the following day.

This year, organizers are asking marchers to help by donating can goods or non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the Capital Area Food Bank. Help to give to those in need by helping the Capital Area Food Bank fill their shelves with non-perishable food items.  Donation receptacles will be available at The University of Texas where the march begins.
