Rio Texas Methodist Federation for Social Action

On Sunday, February 21, University UMC members voted to affiliate with the Reconciling Ministries Network.  Of the 250 in attendance at the church conference, more than 90% voted “yes”.

This church, and so many other progressive communities, have helped to create a greater climate of acceptance, welcome and understanding for the LGBT community.
