Saint John’s invites the congregation and community to gather for a special service commemorating the 10th anniversary of the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001. It will be held on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 7 in the evening in the sanctuary.  The hour-long service will include choral and instrumental music, readings, the lighting of candles, and a compelling visual montage, as well as congregational singing and time for silence and reflection. The evening is meant to be not only a memorial, but also a call to make a difference in the world by moving from sadness to newly inspired ways of living.
